With the EYCA Young Creators program, ten young volunteers from across Europe take the lead in communication by producing short, authentic, and inspiring videos on the topics they care about most. The program was designed to strengthen EYCA’s online presence while ensuring that young people remain directly involved in shaping the dialogue. Past campaigns have shown that authentic voices are the ones that resonate the most, and with this program, we are embedding that approach into our long-term strategy. The goal is simple: to put young people at the forefront and create a steady flow of relatable stories, shared from diverse perspectives across Europe.
Who’s behind the camera?
The Young Creators team brings together a diversity of experiences and backgrounds:
- One representative from the EYCA Youth Panel
- One participant in a European Solidarity Corps project
- Eight European Youth Cardholders, selected through an open call.
This combination highlights different realities, cultures, and perspectives on Europe, making the stories richer and more engaging.
How did it all start?
It all began in Paris, with a first meeting full of ideas, video workshops… and croissants.
Since then, the Young Creators have been producing fun, useful, and inspiring videos: travel, youth opportunities, volunteering, culture, sustainability, life in Europe… Each story brings a fresh perspective. It’s this diversity that makes the project truly special.
The program in action:
Each Young Creator produces:
- Five short videos, up to one minute long – perfect for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- One longer video, blog-style (around five minutes), offering a more personal look at their stories and experiences.
The videos are shared on EYCA’s social media channels as well as on the creators’ own platforms, helping reach a wider audience and spark conversations across Europe. Whenever possible, they also collaborate with EYCA’s local member organizations, creating joint content that increases visibility both locally and internationally.
More than just videos
The Young Creators are more than content – they’re a real community. They capture behind-the-scenes moments at EYCA events, share their perspectives, and bring fresh energy to the stories of young people in Europe.
And the adventure continues: hidden culture, mental health, housing, mobility… they dive into topics that truly matter to young people. One of the creators even produced a personal blog about their stay in Paris – offering a glimpse into the training, the laughter, and all the unforgettable moments that made those days so special.
