YOUR COMMITMENT YOUR IMPACT

Voluntary service gives you the opportunity to get involved in a concrete project of general interest. It’s an opportunity for learning and orientation through practical experience, and represents a commitment for a fixed period.
Some programs take place in Luxembourg, others in other European countries and even beyond.

Mérite Jeunesse

Mérite Jeunesse Luxembourg is part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, the world’s leading award for youth excellence, active in over 130 countries.

The Mérite Jeunesse program is open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 25, regardless of gender, origin, culture, religion, physical ability or interests. It’s a flexible program, in which you can set your own personal goals and achieve them without time pressure.

Life at Rotondes

Call for folunteers !

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April, Rotondes brings back one of its most attended family events, PICelectroNIC. And just like every year, the festival will feature a multitude of musical performances, playful interactive installations and creative workshops of all kinds. The full programme will be published on our website on the 08.03.24.

When ? Saturday 20^th & Sunday 21^st April 2024

Your commitment ?

1 or 2 day(s), according to the volunteers’ availabilities.
Mandatory presence at a meet-up for volunteers prior to the festival, on Wednesday 17.04.24 at 18:00.

The schedule ?

Sat 20.04.24 >14:00 – 19:00
Sun 21.04.24 >10:00 – 18:00
Volunteers are requested to be on site at least one hour before the opening for a staff briefing.

Your tasks ?

Greeting visitors.
Giving any useful information.
Supervising installations and workshops…

The freebies ?

Free entry to performances (subject to seat availability and outside of working hours).
Catering (food and drinks) on the days the volunteers are active.

Your profile ?

Motivated, interested in cultural events and festivals (especially for young audiences), at ease with human interactions, fluent in English and/or French (Luxembourgish is a plus), minimum age: 16 years.
