The Youth Red Cross
A platform for committed young people
The Luxembourg Youth Red Cross (Jugendroutkräiz) offers young people from the age of 15 an ideal platform for volunteer work. In accordance with its principles and values, the Red Cross, together with the Red Cross Youth, helps young people become committed citizens who take an active part in shaping their way of life together. The Red Cross youth summer camps are still one of the cornerstones of the Red Cross.
Mérite Jeunesse
Mérite Jeunesse Luxembourg is part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, the world’s leading award for youth excellence, active in over 130 countries.
The Mérite Jeunesse program is open to anyone between the ages of 14 and 25, regardless of gender, origin, culture, religion, physical ability or interests. It’s a flexible program, in which you can set your own personal goals and achieve them without time pressure.
It offers young people a balanced variety of voluntary missions that promotes self-discovery and personal growth, while fostering independence, perseverance, a sense of personal responsibility, and a commitment to serving the community.
