Focus on the right of withdrawal

In the case of distance selling, you have 14 days to change your mind and receive a full refund. This is the right of withdrawal.

This is the minimum right throughout the European Union.

A seller may, however, offer a longer period.

Good to know :

📌The 14-day period runs from receipt of the product (for products) or from the day the contract is concluded (for services).

📌You don’t have to give a reason and we can’t charge you any penalties.

📌The only costs that may be charged to the consumer are the cost of returning the goods, or a proportional amount corresponding to the share of the service performed prior to withdrawal.

📌The right of withdrawal also applies if the product is discounted or used.

📌Simply returning the goods or refusing to accept delivery is not sufficient to retract.

What to do :

📌Inform the seller of your wish to withdraw in writing (email, registered post or form).

Exceptions to this right of withdrawal:

📌Accommodation, transport, car rental, leisure provided on a specific date.

📌Fully performed services whose performance began with your agreement before the end of the withdrawal period, such as video streaming.

📌Products made to your specifications or personalized, products which, due to their nature, cannot be reshipped or are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly.

📌CDs, DVDs or computer software that have been opened or unsealed.

📌Newspapers, periodicals or magazines.

📌Paris and lotteries.

📌Sales concluded at electronic auctions.

📌Goods or services whose price depends on the market (fuel oil delivery)
