In the case of distance selling, you have 14 days to change your mind and receive a full refund. This is the right of withdrawal.
This is the minimum right throughout the European Union.
A seller may, however, offer a longer period.
Good to know :
đź“ŚThe 14-day period runs from receipt of the product (for products) or from the day the contract is concluded (for services).
đź“ŚYou don’t have to give a reason and we can’t charge you any penalties.
đź“ŚThe only costs that may be charged to the consumer are the cost of returning the goods, or a proportional amount corresponding to the share of the service performed prior to withdrawal.
đź“ŚThe right of withdrawal also applies if the product is discounted or used.
đź“ŚSimply returning the goods or refusing to accept delivery is not sufficient to retract.
What to do :
đź“ŚInform the seller of your wish to withdraw in writing (email, registered post or form).
Exceptions to this right of withdrawal:
đź“ŚAccommodation, transport, car rental, leisure provided on a specific date.
đź“ŚFully performed services whose performance began with your agreement before the end of the withdrawal period, such as video streaming.
đź“ŚProducts made to your specifications or personalized, products which, due to their nature, cannot be reshipped or are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly.
đź“ŚCDs, DVDs or computer software that have been opened or unsealed.
đź“ŚNewspapers, periodicals or magazines.
đź“ŚParis and lotteries.
đź“ŚSales concluded at electronic auctions.
đź“ŚGoods or services whose price depends on the market (fuel oil delivery)
